"This is what folk music should evoke - tenderness, beauty and warmth all at once. There is something inviting, yet heart-breaking, about Taylor’s performance...It boasts infectious songwriting coupled with pure, brittle and unfiltered emotion. Surely that is all the music goodness one could possibly seek from a folk record."

- Dom Eagle, Divide and Conquer Music

"The session highlights Taylor where he shines best, simplifying and letting the song flow. The gentle, but confident picking he lays out under his voice makes me feel like I am listening to something timeless. His songs could have been out of the 60s or 70s or present day."

- Brian Carroll, Red Line Roots

Nate Taylor is a folksinger from Stroudsburg, PA, trying out Boston, MA, but always dreaming of life on the road. Often compared to Nick Drake for his intricate fingerpicking and alternate guitar tunings, Nate's choral background results in a sound that is all at once unexpected, refreshing, and ethereal. His songs hit the major themes of love, purpose, and loss and draw influence from the likes of John Irving, Norman Maclean, and William Butler Yeats. Live performances are a true experience, as Nate paints a complete soundscape with his complex, varied guitar accompaniments and soaring vocals.
